Designer Ruxandra Gheorghe Bridal Lingerie World

Designer Ruxandra Gheorghe hopes to shake up the bridal lingerie world with her new range — Craisa.

Described by the designer as an extension of her lingerie brand, Ludique, Craisa offers a diversified selection of intimates from high-waist knickers, bras, suspenders to bodysuits with delicate geometrical insertions and adjustable cordon elastics designed “to make the most of the feminine curves”.

The bridal range’s name Craiasa, or snow queen, references Hans Christian Andersen titular character and the garments reflect touches of the story’s majesty, magic and mythology. The brand’s photo shoot was set in a real-life palace in the designer’s native Romania. “Artmark – Cesianu-Racovita Palace is one of the greatest palaces in Bucharest, a great cultural heritage and I am very happy that the shooting took place here,” said Ruxandra.

“With this sexy lingerie range, Ludique reinterprets the classical bride and sets her upon a pedestal with profound fairy-like meaning. The essence of femininity takes the shape of the precious materials used and sophisticated details with special design and unconventional shades,” says Ruxandra of her collection. “‘Craiasa’ is veiled in a mix of precious materials as Chantilly lace, fine tulle and velvet, meant to indulge the feminine silhouette, therefore these lingerie articles are turned into real statement pieces.”

It’s a beautiful collection and fans of the brand will note the aesthetic and conceptual similarities with Ludique’s AW13 collection — Madame Pogany. Both collections share Ruxandra’s desire to embody the duality of the feminine spirit, highlighting both seductive and confident nature and delicacy and grace which define femininity.

Ludique products are created and manufactured in limited edition and convey the Underwear as Outerwear trend through a diverse range of lingerie items reflecting femininity, sensuality, spirituality, sophistication and boldness.
